Phoenix Community Mentoring

Empowering Young People to Thrive in Their Communities

The Phoenix Community Mentoring Project empowers young people to become positive, active citizens within their local and wider communities. Through mentoring, we help students build confidence, develop soft skills, and lay the foundations for success in education, work, and life.

How Mentoring Works

Session Structure

  • Minimum 30-minute sessions to provide high-quality, focused support

  • Regular written feedback shared with families via email

  • One-to-one support tailored to each young person’s needs

Role of Our Mentors

Our Community Mentors:

  • Guide personal development

  • Help students build soft skills for academic and career success

  • Act as consistent, supportive role models

Positive Outcomes for Mentees

Through our mentoring programme, young people have demonstrated:

  • Increased motivation and confidence

  • Improved ability to make independent decisions

  • Greater ability to make positive life choices
