A young footballer and former Phoenix Agenda student from Leicester has been called up to represent St Kitts and Nevis in an international under-20s football tournament. Zion Nisbett says he could not be prouder as his mum, dad and wider family hail from the Caribbean nation.

The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) under-20's Championship will take place in Honduras throughout June. Zion spoke with Leicestershire Live before travelling to join up with his team-mates and to begin preparations for Group E matches against the United States, Canada and Cuba.

Zion said his football career started at the age of four, playing at grassroots level for Carib SSFC in Highfields, before moving on to Leicester Phoenix in Evington - a team that his dad helped create. He signed for Derby County at the age of 13 and played for them for three years and now plays for Solihull Moors FC under a scholarship.
